Module One: Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026

3 Hour Live Session

Early Registration: $495

Module One: September 12th, 2026

Facially Driven Treatment Planning: Macro, Mid & Micro
The First Step in Predictable Smile Design

A Clear, Repeatable Clinical Framework

  • Learn a proven, step-by-step workflow for capturing, organizing and presenting cases: from initial photos to final presentation

  • Identify exactly which records to take (photos, videos, measurements) and how to standardize them for consistency across every case

  • Analyze smiles with precision at three levels:

    • Macro: Facial symmetry, midline, proportions

    • Mid: Smile arc, lip dynamics, incisal display occlusion

    • Micro: Tooth shape, width-to-length ratios, gingival contours

  • Leave with a repeatable diagnostic sequence that reduces missed details and increases confidence in treatment planning

Integration of Theory into Real Clinical Application

  • Gain exposure to common mistakes in smile design—and how to avoid them

  • Understand how to move from observation → diagnosis → treatment plan without guesswork

  • Learn how to bridge the gap between digital design and clinical execution so what you plan is what you deliver

  • Walk through real patient cases from start to finish, including how data was gathered, analyzed and translated into a final design

By the end of the module, you will think systematically and have a clear, repeatable framework for confident, comprehensive treatment planning.

Who Should Attend

  • General dentists and specialists seeking to improve aesthetic and functional treatment planning.

  • Clinicians looking for a structured, repeatable method to evaluate smiles comprehensively.

Dr. Elaine Halley

I understand your frustration because I've lived it. For over two decades of my 30+ year career, I was that dentist who worked incredibly hard, constantly educated myself, and travelled the world learning from the best—yet still felt something was missing. Most cases went well, but when a veneer fractured or complications arose, I'd feel that familiar deflation and stress of disappointing a patient.

The breakthrough came when I realized that full diagnosis isn't just important—it's everything. But achieving it with a live, talking, interrupting patient seemed impossible until digital technology changed the game. As someone whose practice won awards for technology innovation as early as the 1990s, I embraced intraoral scanners and digital workflows that finally allowed me to study cases properly after patients left.

Combining this digital revolution with everything I'd learned from mentors worldwide—smile design, communication skills, systematic assessment—led to the creation of my book “Smile Analysis” and ultimately this programme. I don't just teach these concepts; I live them every day in my practice and see the transformation in the dentists I mentor across multiple practices.

This isn't theoretical knowledge from an ivory tower. It's a hard‑won system born from the same struggles you're experiencing now. I know it works because I've walked this path from uncertainty to confidence, and I've guided countless colleagues on the same journey.

The question isn't whether these methods work—it's whether you're ready to commit to mastering them.

Elaine’s support and mentoring has helped me approach complex cases with a clearer mindset. Focusing on the correct diagnosis first and building solid treatment plans has made my clinical work far more enjoyable and predictable. My diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical outcomes have improved massively as a result.

Dr. Alistair Colquhoun

"Learning from someone with this level of experience has expanded my knowledge and reinforced the importance of accurate diagnosis.

Dr. Halley’s mentorship has given me the confidence to manage more complex cases, while also ensuring I can present patients with all available treatment options—even when I may not be the one providing the treatment. She is incredibly approachable, and her teaching has been truly invaluable."
